IDB Lab seeks partner for open innovation project in Paraguay
As part of the actions that the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) has been carrying out to promote the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem in Paraguay, IDB Lab and the Competitiveness, Technology and Innovation Division of the IDB Group (CTI) intend to develop the project "Open Innovation Paraguay" to promote collaboration among companies, entrepreneurs, technology centers and other stakeholders in order to develop a portfolio of innovative products and services that contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals.
IDB Lab and CTI are interested in identifying and selecting an Executing Agency to co-design and execute the Project "Open Innovation Paraguay". The selected entity will receive funds from the IDB Lab, through a non-reimbursable technical cooperation, of up to US$1 million, subject to the internal approval processes of the IDB.
Interested entities must send their expression of interest to INNOVACION@iadb.org until May 3, 2019. Entities that have expressed interest in participating in the process must send additional information, as requested in the Guidelines, no later than the day May 10, 2019 (11:59 pm EST). In response to inquiries received, we clarify that in this stage of the call it is only requested to complete the expression of interest (Section A of the Guidelines) by Friday, May 3 (11:59 pm EST). Section B of the Call Guidelines must be completed by Friday, May 10 (11:59 pm EST).
Additionally, for those entities that are considering the possibility of presenting themselves with other partner institutions, we clarify that as long as the entity interested in being a project executing agency meets the requirements indicated in section 3 of the Guidelines, it is not required to have an alliance formalized before May 10, 2019.
