“The distrust in digital assets is overcome by communicating”

What needs to change in our societies for sustainability to be at the center of our actions?

We need to educate people on the importance to our daily lives of biodiversity and nature, and we also need to make it easier for people to connect and contribute to biodiversity, generating the right incentives to be able to do so.

How can we overcome distrust in digital assets?

By communicating, by showing the use cases and demonstrating that they are not a technical issue but a tool to provide transparency, and that requires pedagogy.

Are digital assets here to stay?

No doubt about it.

What is the main task of innovation labs like IDB Lab?

Laboratories of innovation provide the space for this type of ideas to really flourish; they give them time and support, and also generate the institutional foundations needed to give credibility and strength to all these new ideas that can be absolutely transformative.
